Lynne

Greetings! I'm Lynne, a new technical writer working in the LabVIEW software group. I recently graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in English and a specialization in Technical Communication. As a new writer, I document the LabVIEW software product, and I participate in training activities to learn about NI products and processes. Professionally, I'm interested in usability, single sourcing and XML, and information architecture. I especially enjoy developing documentation tools in the LabVIEW environment. In my spare time, I like to watch documentaries and independent films, read biographies of the great minds of our time, and see as much live music as possible.

Here are some of the things I do in a typical week:

• Monday: Analyze my audience with a Product Support Engineer (PSE)
• Tuesday: Write new feature content and attend Document Production (Doc Pro) training
• Wednesday: Review my documentation and attend a brown bag session
• Thursday: Illustrate feature with Doc Pro and play volleyball
• Friday: Set career goals with my manager and attend the deck party
