Set Career Goals

This morning I meet with Robin to set my career goals for the next few months. I'm interested to see what documentation projects I'll be working on, and I plan to volunteer to help with recruiting.

Attend Deck Party

NI's motto is "Work hard, play hard," and we really stay true to our word. During the day, I'm busy learning about the processes and technology we use here, along with working on my documentation tasks. However, I also get to participate in some really cool activities outside of my cube. This afternoon, NI is having a deck party to celebrate one of our accomplishments as a company. NI recognizes that everyone contributes to our success, so everyone is invited to attend a party outside on our deck area. I'll get the chance to mingle with my group and with other writers, and meet new people in other groups and positions at NI. There will be a live band, free beer, and yummy snacks, so I'm looking forward to the party.
