Erik

My name is Erik, and I'm a Senior Technical Writer. I graduated from New Mexico State University way back in 1997 with a B.A. in English. Currently, I document LabVIEW software, though as a senior writer I do more than just write. I also develop documentation-related software tools, lead technical research projects, and help troubleshoot problems. Outside of work, I enjoy running to brink of collapse, brewing potent beer, plunking away on my guitar, and finding homes for stray dogs.

Here are some of the things I do in a typical week:

• Monday: Collaborate with other technical writers
• Tuesday: Develop a documentation tool
• Wednesday: Write a proposal and attend a presentation
• Thursday: Learn about a new feature and run on trails
• Friday: Mentor students and go to a deck party
