My name is Carrie, and I'm a Staff Technical Writer. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2001 with a B.S. in Journalism and started work at NI the same year. I work in a medium-sized group, where I work on both hardware and software documentation. In my spare time, I enjoy running, cycling, swimming, frequenting Austin's famous restaurants, watching movies, and enjoying the Austin music scene.

Here are some of the things I do in a typical week:

• Monday: Participate in technical training course course and write an internal process document
• Tuesday: Test product and write a KnowledgeBase article based on my bug report
• Wednesday: Peer review and enter peer review edits
• Thursday: Work at career fair
• Friday: Provide usability feedback and create a documentation outline
